Curate Your Focus
The first thing I learned ages ago in driver training is that you will steer where you focus. You need to keep your eye on the road and where you want to turn next. If you look too long toward the other lane, you will end up in it. This is true about our thoughts, and how we often allow them to shift our focus.
Armour, Linen, and Open Hearts
…”Vulnerability is such a hugely underrated strength when it comes to our thoughts, feelings and ideas. It leaves us open to connection with others, and even more importantly, with ourselves. It can lead us to a kinder, softer open heart and a welcoming space for others. It can lead to love in its truest form...”

A Guiding Word
“…the universe holds so many amazing opportunities for us if we are open to them. But we have to be aware of them, willing to accept them, and intentional about them…”

Slowing Down
“Each moment we rush through is our life. When we rush the day, the tasks, the experiences, even the commutes in traffic, we are rushing away the minutes that are our lives. Minutes we won’t get back.”

Things You Don’t Want to Do
What do you try to avoid knowing about yourself that might be standing in the way of your success?

Clarity Out of Clutter
Do you have a puzzle that you need to solve, and do you give yourself grace and space to work out the complications that arise from the chaos?

Resolve to Connect
Why are connections important to you? What is something you can do to make a new connection?

Anchor Lifted
“When I returned a friend asked me what I was afraid of now. I couldn’t think of anything…”

Reset to (almost) Zero
“Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again?” Solid advice from any tech support friends I have ever encountered, and it works for humans too.

Things You Don’t Want to Know
…I recently saw a post on social media that said: “If you want to write a good book write about what you don’t want people to know about you. And, if you want to write a great book, write about what you don’t want to know about yourself.”…

Pathways to Great Things
We are what we think. Is there something you think that is in the way of your success?

A Little Step to the Left
Sometimes we just need a change of perspective… a little step to the left

Invitation To Growth
It is important to see fear as an opportunity to challenge ourselves and grow.

Actually, I can.
This blog started when I realized how much I owed this little girl a chance to see opportunities beyond an anchored boat!
